On June 20th the OXID user group NRW is celebrating its 1st birthday with cake, coke and code in Essen.
The topic this time will be Elasticsearch, an enterprise open source search engine on the basis of Lucine, comparable to SOLR. Elasticsearch was made to execute so called “intelligent” searches in huge databases with outstanding performance.
Unit M, one of our partner agencies and the organisational head of the user group NRW, recently implemented Elasticsearch in a project and wants to share their knowledge in a workshop style. Additionally, as so to say a birthday present, they will share the code they used in this project to the attendees of the user group meeting, so don’t forget to bring your memory sticks
Attendance is free, but registration is required. You’ll find more information on the website of the OXID user groups.
Two days earlier, on June 18th, the OXID user group Berlin will meet, hosted by our partner SysEleven. Hurry up and grab yourself a ticket, it’s going to be crowded. Currently there are only nine places left.
At both events, most likely at least one OXID representative will join, so you’ll have the chance to talk to us personally.
Have fun!
